Our Story

Sites Farm is a 250 acre family farm located in Athens Maine.  In 1970, John and Kitty Sites moved from Maryland to the woods of Maine, with the dream of running their own self-sufficient farm.  In their first year they began a lifelong relationship of cultivating strawberries.  After 25 years of success, they decided to hand the farm management and eventual ownership, over to their son, Luke.  Many changes have been made here over the years, but two things remain, a love for beautifying the farm and a love for raising berries.  Luke, his wife Allyson, and their three children, love interacting with their customers each season.  They have now expanded their business into the wedding industry.  Allyson has been operating a wedding barn on the property, for almost 10 years now.  Sites farm is ever evolving and changing and hopes to be doing so for many years to come.
